Project team member, Danijela Lugarić Vukas, PhD, participated in the international scientific conference Intersezioni – Пересечения, held in online form from February 3. to February 4., 2022, wich was organised by University of Turin. In her presentation Memory and forgetting in the contemporary Russian novel (Eugene Vodolazkin: The Aviator, Polina Barskova: Living Pictures, Maria Stepanova: In Memory of Memory) (rus. Память и забвение в современном русском романе (Евгений Водолазкин: Авиатор, Полина Барскова: Живые картины, Мария Степанова: Памяти памяти)) Lugarić Vukas analyzed the role of forgetting in the construction of the poetics of memory in three contemporary Russian novels, but also in the sociocultural context of post-Soviet Russia in the 2010s.
